The Tour for a life time memory

"Great Pain is followed by a great pleasure and great pleasure is followed by a greater satisfaction",realizing this, we were on the Holy Seventh Hill of Tirumala,feeling accomplished and deeply satisfied.

Climbing all the way around 4000 steps is in fact a great thing,isn't it? and more over in the scorch heat of May.Cheema's glucose idea worked very well but only to her :P . CM,India ,Myself(RBT) ,N and R all were guding Cheema as it was her first visit to the place.

Some anecdotes.some tales and the temple history,some 'inspiring talks'(staminising),too many 'breath-taking' :p stops,watermelon pieces,mango pieces,of course the tasteless mirchi bajji :P(reason for all the disappointment as some of us had come this way just to eat them),maaany water bottles,running time,altogether an awesome 5 hour journey to the Lord's abode.

All the tiredness vanished by the sense of accomplishment . Then we took the luggage which was brought up by the free service and sat outside the luggage centre to breath,waiting for Arivu(the 7th musketeer :P) . That was more than fun time with two monkeys entertaining us with their feats. So passed the time and it was 11:45 when we reached the rooms. Our darshan was scheduled at 2 PM .By 1 PM we were at the entrance of the new darshan line which was experimentally introduced with a mandation that all the devotees shall be clad in perfectly traditional attire. Then fell the poor birds(my friends,not me :p I was in traditional already),into the clutches of the Pancha sellers whose business was going like 3 flowers ,six fruits. 100 bucks each. Then we got into the line. Every one ,in their own way got into the devotional mood,waiting eagerly for those golden moments.

Surprisingly ,our darshan was finished in just 2 hours. Then what? We got time. So we took prasadam,need not mention,it was as awesome as ever , and went for Varahaswamy temple,followed by Pushkarini. Leaving my friends there I went for Tonsuring.Then came the interesting scene . I was back and I did not find them where I expected them. I had enough faith that I shall some how meet them.There were guesses in my mind. They might be sitting some where or they might be shopping or some other thing. After a short search. I postponed searching and went to Nadanirajanam by SMT Parthasarathy . Then my mind became alerted. I had enough money to reach the rooms but pity ,I donot know the cottage name or the address either .

Then I wisely utilised the central information system of the temple authority . Gave the details of my friends and waited them to be announced on the loud speaker. No use.I started losing hopes . Then came the silver line in the cloud. I heard some one calling "RBT". It was Arivu.Then rest of the story  ...thank GOD. Then Dinner...hehe what a dinner! (sshh!! North Indian Thali ,South Indian thali :P,Undeliverd Dosa...unforgettablle). Retired to rooms...had the deepest sleep.

Finding the announcement not so fruitful,I came down walking towards nadaneerajana mantapam giving it a last try and prepared to go alone to the rooms. Then luck called me. I saw someone calling my name "RBT!!" thank GOD it was Arivu.We all met once again..:p ofcourse I met them.

Then dinner ...back to rooms,had a sound sleep ,giving the tiredness of walking up the seven hills a good answer.




Next day,we came went upto for sightseeing . All the places in Tirumala whole day...it wss awesome. Going into the forest,pics,panipuri,kaccha mango,some shopping,icecreams,. Notable place was Jabali Hanuman,which was deep 1km in the forest. We all felt we were in Jurassic park.


Then the next day,we got down to Iirupati,covered the main temples Tiruchanur ,Govindarajaswamy temple,where the Prasadam(Pulihara) was of EPIC taste and a sumptuous lunch at Hotel Bhimas and everyone started going their way back,,,first Bangalore,then Chennai,then Hyderabad,then Mangalore all Home with lifetime memories.

Hope we all meet again like this. This was a lasting memory. Miss you all. Thank you for it.
